William S. Kalin, President/CEO

William (Bill) Kalin, President and co-founder of Clarus Technology, has over 16 years experience providing strategic business consulting and technical project management services to technology-based businesses and the Federal government. Most recently Mr. Kalin has been engaged in working on the President’s Management agenda, eGovernment initiatives across several agencies in defining strategy and technology needs to support a more citizen centric government.

Previously Mr. Kalin worked for several high-tech companies including ADP, Inc., Litton (PRC, Inc.) and MCI while leading large technical and business teams responsible for the development and deployment of new products, services, and business support systems. Additionally Mr. Kalin has consulted to start-ups, venture capitalists, non-profits and the Federal government in assessing and aligning their technical and business strategies. As a seasoned leader, Mr. Kalin’s efforts have helped these organizations expand into new markets, increase their profitability and raise shareholder value. Bill greatest assets are his abilities to manage both the business and technical needs of an organization to help clients excel beyond their competitors by creating a sustainable competitive advantage in a global market.

Bill holds an M.S. in Technology Management and a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. He’s performed several public speaking seminars about topics affecting the growth and technology of the wireless and telecommunications industries.
